One Eleven East Wedding | Hutto, Texas | Andy & Anna's Fall Wedding

“Almost Every Door Is Also An Exit But Not This One.
It’s Just An Entrance.”

There is something special about firsts.

A first kiss, a first dance, the first time you call your partner husband or wife. This video was a first for me, the first time I got to use music written and composed by a grooms band.

The film starts with the first line of Andy’s vows, which were used as a theme for most of the day. Andy & Anna share a love for music and it is an important part of their relationship, so they wanted to use a song by one of their groomsman and a song that Andy wrote and recorded about Anna in the video. Andy said “This song is about meeting the person you’re going to be with for the rest of your life. It’s that tension of ‘when are we going to kiss for the first time?’ There’s nothing like the first time.” It took a bit of time getting the music ready, but it was well worth the wait because how special and unique is it to have custom music in your wedding film. Andy’s band Grand Child is releasing a new album, and they put out “Anna, For The First Time” as the single! The first song in the film is called “Simple Man” by local Austin artist Walker Lukens.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY

  • The energy from the wedding party was unmatched. I’ve never seen a couple more supported and celebrated by their friends and loved ones than Andy & Anna. They were in good spirits the whole day, joking around, laughing, just being themselves. At one point, all the groomsmen went into a tiny shower and did a little “reveal” for the camera.

  • Anna walking into the ceremony to “Don’t Worry Baby” by The Beach Boys - she sang that to Andy when he broke his ankle a couple years earlier.

  • Their bestfriend Will officiating the wedding and spitting fire like this:

  • Andy’s coordinated dance to “I Say A Little Prayer'“ by Aretha Franklin with his parents is definitely in the top 3 best wedding moments I’ve ever witnessed.

A Little More About These Beautiful People

Andy & Anna met through mutual friends. Andy was in a band called Driver Friendly and Anna was friends with people who were friends with the band. They were long distance for the first 7 months of their relationship and would have FaceTime dates watching the same movie or show together (ex: entire first season of Stranger Things).
They both work in healthcare – Anna is a nurse and Andy is a psychotherapist and they have the biggest hearts for people. Their wedding day was fill with so much genuine love, joy and celebration and their friends were one rowdy bunch.

They now have the same initials: A. M. L.

“WOW. Sharayah and Ryan are AMAZING. They filmed and created our wedding video and we love it so much. All of our friends love it. All of our family loves it. Sharayah has been so communicative, personable, friendly, and kind throughout the whole process from the moment I first inquired about their services to receiving our final product. Sharayah and Ryan were so professional and easy-going on our wedding day. Sharayah did a wonderful job of directing us while she got certain shots and we are so thankful she did. As you can imagine, wedding days are hectic so it is nice to have organization and someone who knows how to give instruction in order to capture our day perfectly. Sharayah and Ryan were also very patient and willing/able to work with us on the song selections for the video. My husband and I share a love for music and it is an important part of our relationship, so we wanted to use a song by our groomsman and a song my husband wrote/recorded about me. It took a bit of time getting the music ready, but Sharayah and Ryan were totally down giving us the time we needed so that we could use music that was very special to us. Overall, our wedding video is absolutely beautiful and working with Hereafter Films has been so fun and such a breeze. When I was first researching vendors for videography, I couldn’t find ANY that I liked or that I thought would be the right fit. When we saw Hereafter Films videos, we knew right away they were the one! Their style is so unique, classy, and timeless. You will NOT regret booking them for your event. Thank you thank you thank you to Sharayah and Ryan for giving us something so dreamy and irreplaceable.”
