Intimate Wedding at Justine’s Secret House
There’s something magical about intimate wedding celebrations. Chandler & Patrick traveled all the way from Seattle to tie the knot in Austin, Texas. They both got dressed in the same house, albeit different floors, with all their friends and family around them. The ceremony consisted of just about a dozen people, in the front courtyard of Justine’s. Amidst the busy city soundscape, they professed their love for each other surrounded by climbing vines and lush palm trees. “Welcome to the roast of Patrick Chew” was the perfect opening to Chandlers vows.
ROLLER SKATE WEDDING
Getting married at Justine’s Secret House (hint: the password is surrealist) feels like throwing a house party with all your best friends. Just shy of 100 people showed up to celebrate with Chandler & Patrick after they did the damn thing. They had picked up rollerskating during the pandemic, and performed their first dance together on said rollerskates, with matching surname charms on their laces for extra style points.
It got ratchet.
Chandler spilled red wine on her dress, friends and family got down to boogie thanks to the amazing DJs at Dart Collective (we recommend Mason & Alex) and late night snacks were served up by the catering staff to keep everyone’s energy up. Lastly, we ended the night at Playland Skate Center, where they continued to bust a move until the place literally shut down for the night.
WEDDING TIP - Buy a few kodak disposable cameras for your friends & family to capture the day through their eyes. Just be sure they understand the flash. ;)
